There’s a point every night when the TV programs that are part of last night overlap those that are part of tomorrow morning.

I don't give a single fuck about the Superbowl.

I’d apologize for being un-American, but I still love cheeseburgers, beer, and jeans so I think I’m fine.

AMAZING
tanya77:
I refuse to use the word “amazing” anymore. Its meaning has been banalized from over use. EVerything is aMAZing. Well, it’s not. That blog isn’t aMAZING, that new album isn’t aMAZing, that new movie/book/person isn’t aMAZing. They just aren’t.

If you could commission a drawing or painting about anything related to pop-culture nostalgia what would the subject be?
I responded before I read the other responses. I must have misunderstood the question. I thought that nostalgia referred to stuff that happened like a long time ago!

Boring!!
I just watched that program called EAS on the Bounce Network. they’ve been hyping it for weeks. Totally not worth watching!

I don’t normally like to recount dreams but I had one of those opposite dreams last night. My sister and I had inherited this house (the only part based in reality) but: Instead of being in the country, it was in the inner city. And, instead of the property being really nice, the inside of the house was huge and spectacular. There was nothing in it except a couch (the one thing gone in...

PonyPonyShow: Entertainment is Dead →
tanya77:
Entertainment is not a growth industry.
You have a public that doesn’t believe they need to pay for entertainment online (for the most part) as viewing filmed material on the Internet is more akin to watching TV (and is therefore sponsor-supported) than it is to going to the theater. Then you…
Well this is bad timing for me. I just ended a 30 year career in computer...

I’ve been trying to pick my spirits up because I’ve heard that these hurricanes are spawned from the doldrums.

We're not there yet!
I was just down at Bel Air getting some groceries. There was a huge line (think concert) in front of one of the machines. I naturally figure that Lotto must be up to some magic level. But as I was leaving, I noticed it was one of those movie machines. And the line was still just as long. Is that where we are people? Waiting an hour for that evening’s hour and a half of entertainment?

Corporations are people too, my friend

Hey!, I heard that about prostitutes, too.
More reasons why Google+ won't work
If I had to use my real name and everyone I have ever known could find and read my blog:
a) I would have to post a lot more often or lose face. They would say “Dude, you were a computer guy, and you do nothing now. You should post at least once a day”.
b) I would have to create at least 500 fake users to friend me. Or at least start accepting those “Russian bride”...

Rachel: Oh Snap! I'm single! →
mil0:
So that happened. I’m going to see if I can set a personal record and stay single for a year. I am a serial monogamous relationship type. One long term relationship after the next. The first time that I actually stayed fully single was after The vicious thieving midget and I broke up. I had never…
