In other news, a mosquito might bite me later today.
“The Pacific Tsuanmi Warning Center said experts were possibly expecting 3 to 5 or 6 feet tsunami waves in Hawaii, depending on the location.”
Seriously, am I missing something? This would barely make a surfer leave his warm bed. Now, these are what I would call Tsunamis.
A tsunami wave of eight feet is way different than a beach wave of eight feet. Normal waves of eight feet have enough volume to traverse the beach. A tsunami wave of the same hight can travel inland for some distance because of the pressure of the huge volume of water. That being said, I think the danger has passed.
